Human Rights and Economic Interests

The International Society for Human Rights (ISHR) hosts in cooperation with the publisher company Epochtimes Europe an International China Conference in Königstein near Frankfurt on the 30th of March 2007. Under the conference theme: "Human Rights and economic interests- China behind the scenes" international skilled experts on economy and politics will explore and discuss  the factors of the as inexorable accounted  booming economy of China and the resulting chances and risks for Western companies.
 
Discuss with our experts about explosive issues under the topic China:
  • Since the 90's about 1,000 billion US-Dollar of foreign investment poured into the People's Republic of China. Who benefits from this immense flow of money and transfer of know how to China?
  • China has opened up: Chinese travel overseas. Foreigners travel to China. But what is with the situation of the freedoms inside China. What stability of law is there?
  • Organ harvesting: The number of liver transplantations has increased from1998 to 2005 about 3,000 %. What do we know about the origin of this huge number of organs for transplantations?
  • Since the awarding of the Olympic Games to Beijing the human rights situation has further deteriorated, can the Olympic Ideal still be saved? For whom are the Olympic Games in Beijing taking place?

Fees

 

For the members of the ISHR and of the Epoch Times Europe GmbH participation is free. Solely the costs for meals and ? if required ? for accommodation have to be paid.
For representatives of companies the conference fee is 180.00 Euro including meals, soft drinks and documentation materials.
For the Annual Meeting which will take place following the China Conference there will be no conference fee.

Arrival by car or train

 

Königstein/Taunus is situated close to Frankfurt/Main and can easily be reached by car. For visitors arriving by train the ISHR will provide a shuttle service between the train station in Königstein and the KTC Centre.
