The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child is a body consisting of 18 independent experts. It monitors the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in the countries that have ratified it. In their last report, the experts have expressed concerns about the trafficking of children and about the practice of temporary marriage with underage girls.

Reports by the UN Human Rights Committee
The Human Rights Committee is a UN treaty body, consisting of 18 experts. During its three annual sessions, the Committee receives periodic reports from member states of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and assesses them. In its latest report, the Committee expressed deep concern over the high number of death sentences and persecution and cruel punishment of homosexuals.

Reports by the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination
The Commission on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) is a body composed of independent experts which monitor the implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination in the states that have ratified the Convention. All member states are obliged to deliver regular reports on the implementation of the convention, which are then analyzed and evaluated by the Committee.

Reports of the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
The UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights is a UN treaty body composed of 18 experts appointed by the ECOSOC which supervises compliance with the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. The Committee receives periodic reports from the states which have ratified the Covenant and assesses them, while taking into account so-called parallel reports produced by non-governmental organizations. If violations of a human right are identified, the Committee provides recommendations for improvement of the human rights situation in its concluding observations.
